GVSA Speaks at Sold-Out Event
Two representatives of Goode Van Slyke Architecture spoke at the Thursday, Oct. 1 meeting of the Construction Coffee Club. The sold-out breakfast meeting at The Buckhead Club, attracted a Who’s Who of Atlanta’s construction and real estate community.
Stephen Cooke, who heads up GVSA’s Business Development, moderated the event. Architect and author Jeff Morrison spoke about some of the firm’s latest projects, including Seven88 West Midtown, a luxury high-rise that’s nearing completion. The sleek 22-level glass and steel tower features two amenity decks and thoughtfully designed condos, including penthouses with skyline views. Morrison is also the author of “Atlanta Underground: History from Below,” a new book about the hidden – and often forgotten – spaces beneath the city.
The panel also included Darden & Company Vice President Matt Dale and Senior Project Manager Carson Mathis from JLL.
Sponsors included the Council for Quality Growth, Goode Van Slyke, Darden Company Development Management and JLL. It is presented by Cooper & Co. General Contractors.
