Pacesetter Awards Honor Goode Van Slyke Architecture

Goode Van Slyke Architecture (GVSA) is named One of Atlanta’s Fastest-Growing private companies. The Atlanta Business Chronicle revealed the rankings of its 25th annual Pacesetter Awards April 22 in an online ceremony. They are also are listed in a cover story in the April 23 weekly print edition. “Growing in a pandemic sounds nearly impossible,” the editors wrote. “Not for these 100 companies on the 2021 Pacesetter Awards list.”

GVSA is the only architecture firm on the list. It ranked in the top seven of real estate-related firms and #92 overall. The Chronicle produced and featured a video about the firm, highlighting some of its projects including Mercedes-Benz Stadium, luxury condo high-rise Seven88 West Midtown and educational developments. While not mentioned specifically, the firm is also designing The Bailey – a spa wellness mixed-use and healthcare development in Alpharetta on a planned section of the AlphaLoop. Because of its commitment to community involvement, it also has several affordable housing renovations and new developments.

The video of the ceremony can be found here. The special video feature on GVSA appears about 34 minutes in.

“We’ve been very blessed - very fortunate - during the pandemic to be finding these new opportunities,” said Managing Partner and co-founder Chris Goode. “The growth of the sectors we’re in, we certainly want to keep that happening, as well as we’re looking to expand to other areas of the Southeast region.”

“Our stated goal is to be the best firm, not the biggest firm,” added Partner and Co-Founder Paul Van Slyke.

The honorees are Atlanta-based companies with revenue between $1 million to $300 million and at least 50% sales growth over two years. The judges applied a growth index formula to level the playing field.
