HEALTH, PHYSICAL EDUCATION & RECREATION FACILITY at Georgia Southwestern University

Due to a historic landmark sited within the project bounds, state and federal agencies had to be consulted in order to conclude the order of best use. Opportunities provided for a visual marker to the campus by way of a large geodesic and metal dome that would serve as the new home for collegiate athletics. Within the facility are many components for sports related activities for fitness, competition, recreation, and learning. Grand corridors are strategically located to facilitate usage and promotes efficiency of simultaneous functions. Aerobics, swimming, weight training, rock climbing, ball courts, and health labs are all a part of this facility that serve as a student hub for social activities as well.
