Wells Street is a mixed-use development that incorporates an existing office/warehouse into added residential lofts with enclosed parking. Two new multi-family condominiums are positioned to frame inter-site vehicular passageways while maintaining a secure and separate allocated surface area of parking for its office component. As a feature to the existing building, its center-most bay is “blown out” to become a courtyard overlooking secured parking below in a space once used as warehouse storage. This added enclosed parking enabled development of an increase in residential units to the owner’s benefit. Rooftops for the lofts are provided to take advantage of vistas to the Atlanta downtown skyline.
