Amanda earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media from Valdosta State University. Her role at GVSA involves leveraging her strong networking skills and passion for creating meaningful connections within the industry. Her outgoing personality and dedication to relationship-building make her a valuable asset to the team.
In addition to her work at Goode Van Slyke Architecture, Amanda is an active member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and serves on the Membership Committee, further enhancing her industry involvement and professional growth.
What is something you love about Architecture? I love watching a project come to life from beginning to end and seeing all of the tiny details that go into each one!
What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working? Spending time with my family and husband, preferably around some kind of body of water.
Before working at GVSA, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had? After I graduated college I was a background actor on a daytime court room TV show and a Netflix show.
When I was 5, I was pretty sure I’d be a [JOB/PROFESSION] when I grew up. Vet, I’ve always loved animals.
What would your perfect weekend look like? A quick weekend getaway with my husband, friends or family at the lake or beach, brunch is required every day, and that’s all I need!
