Danny Le has been practicing architecture for over 7 years. His professional experience spans a variety of clients & building types which covers residential, commercial, institutional, education & federal work. Coming from a diverse background prior to architecture–including occupations in the non-profits, arts & transportation–he appreciates how architecture has enough room for all walks-of-life to occupy. In his free time, he likes to bike around town, discover obscure music & hang out with his family.

What is something you love about Architecture? A mathematician will provide a solution to the problem at hand. An architect will provide a 100 options & they’re all valid.

What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working? Catching up on history & all the good stuff I missed before my time.

Before working at GVSA, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had? I worked for a community arts center during undergrad & got to experience everything. We organized community events, mentored kids & created art for the Beltline.

When I was 5, I was pretty sure I’d be a [JOB/PROFESSION] when I grew up. When I was 5, I was pretty sure I’d be a doctor, lawyer or engineer when I grew up. Those are the only options in a first-gen Vietnamese household 😊.

What would your perfect weekend look like? Lounging with my family at a café or public plaza on a lazy afternoon. We’ll be snacking & drinking while watching all the folks go by. Carefree and unbothered.
