126 Renaissance is a new mixed-use building in the SoNo District of Atlanta. Placed a mere few blocks away from landmarks such as the Fox Theater, Shakespeare Tavern, The Varsity and Emory University Hospital Midtown, its location is exceptional. GVSA has designed the first five-story wood stick over two-story concrete podium building in Atlanta. Six stories include residential units inclusive of studios and one- and two-bedroom units housed above a courtyard terrace with views toward the Atlanta skyline. Other amenities include a fitness center, ample on-site storage as well as access to street level retail. In order to maximize the building on the site while also adhering to zoning regulations, GVSA designed the parking deck for residents and guests to be below street level, accessed via a ramp on the west side of the building. As the SoNo, Midtown and Old Fourth Ward neighborhoods develop and grow, 126 Renaissance will be at the center of it all.
