The Civic Center Masterplan provided by GVSA is a version whose purpose was to serve as a very conceptual idea of a less expensive plan to primarily incorporate affordable multi-family housing. Through a diversity of scale and use, key anchor components of large scale retail, office and hotel, and a more intimate performing arts center are also shown. As a rather 3-demensional concept masterplan, an intent to inform the site’s use and potential density was realized enough for the City to re-engage moving forward with this development.
