EMS 37 is the first-ever Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Micro Station for the City of Atlanta. Based on a study that showed 85 to 90 percent of all Atlanta Fire Rescue Department (AFRD) are EMS related, this station will drastically reduce the EMS response time for the community. As a substantially smaller facility these EMS facilities will reduce cost to the taxpayer while still addressing the needs of the community.
