West Highland

The West Highland Affordable Housing Development is a housing project located in Atlanta’s West Midtown area. It comprises two buildings with a total of 195 residential units, following a 60/40 split between affordable and market-rate housing. The design of the development is inspired by the existing neighborhood’s architectural style, aiming to seamlessly blend into the local character. The buildings are constructed over a concrete podium and deck, maximizing space utilization in this urban setting.

One of the project’s notable features is its proximity to Herman E Perry Park and adjacent walking trails, providing easy access to outdoor recreational areas. Furthermore, the development emphasizes its close proximity to the upcoming Bellwood Quarry Park, anticipated to become Atlanta’s largest planned greenspace upon completion. This strategic location offers future residents a unique opportunity to enjoy nature and open spaces within an urban environment, contributing to an improved quality of life. In summary, the West Highland Affordable Housing Development represents a well-planned and community-oriented approach to urban development, combining affordability, architectural harmony, and accessibility to green amenities.
